2016 Georgia Haitian American Scholarship Banquet

One of the main goals of GME is to uplift international unity through musical performance.

The Georgia Haitian American Chamber of Commerce is a wonderful Atlanta based organization in Atlanta building bridges for the future of Haiti and her global descendants.

GME Artist J K Smith Jr performed the American and Haitian National Anthem at their signature Scholarship Banquet.

The objectives of the Future Leaders Fund Banquet is:

  • To shine a spotlight on talented students and encourage the pursuit of academic excellence at all levels of education by awarding educational scholarships to a minimum of five students of Haitian descent in the amount of $1,000 to $1,500 each.
  • To stimulate increased support from organizations and individuals that wish to sponsor scholarships for outstanding scholastic talent.
  • To help talented students of Haitian descent within our community and Haiti achieve their career goals while ensuring the continued prosperity of the Haitian community in Georgia by sponsoring a half day seminar on leadership skills for scholarship recipients.
