Garvey Day 2016

On August 17, 2016 an intelligent and skilled group of people gathered to celebrate the birthday of Marcus Mosiah Garvey born on that day in Jamaica, 1887.  Marcus Garvey is very important. His life work was to uplift & unite Black people in the world based on government and culture. This event lifted authors, artist, historians and entrepreneurs.  The intent of this program was to facilitate a collective forum to address the situations and condition of Black people and how  we can use the teachings of Marcus Garvey in the 21st century.
